Reiki Shoden Level 1, 2-day training
Date: Saturday 12 – Sunday 13 Oct 2024, 9am – 4pm
Location: Palmerston, Canberra (details provided upon booking)
Prerequisites: no prerequisites are necessary
The course is perfect for beginners or refreshing, I will provide everything you need to be able to use at home.
Reiki Level 1 teaches you to bring in the spiritual energy to promote healing in yourself and others, as well as balance and harmony to the body and your life.
My workshops are infused with practical, theory and a deep knowledge of the Reiki practice. I bring in a personalised touch with an opportunity to discuss and help with how to link in the Reiki with your own needs and interests.
Once you’ve completed the course, you will be eligible to apply for an official Reiki association.
Teacher
With 20 years’ experience in Reiki, I am a Reiki Master and registered teacher. My lineage is Usui Reiki Ryoho, a traditional Japanese line starting with Mikao Usui through to Hiroshi Doi and Frans Stiene. I have additional Reiki Master level lineages with Japanese teachers in Gendai Reiki with Hiroshi Doi and Komyo ReikiDo with Hyakuten Inamoto.
I am honoured to be able to teach the traditional Japanese form, Usui Reiki Ryoho, reflecting practices taught by Mikao Usui.
I am committed to actively continuing my own personal practices, deepening my inners learnings, connections, using traditional methods and teachings into the Reiki system. This enables me to provide further teachings and guidance to students.
What is Reiki – Shoden?
A spiritual practice which originated in Japan, Reiki means spiritual energy. Shoden is the Japanese word for ‘first teaching’. Reiki Shoden Level 1 teaches you to bring in the spiritual energy to promote healing in yourself and others, as well as balance and harmony to the body and your life.
Reiki Shoden Level 1 training, includes:
- The history of Reiki
- What is Reiki – and the benefits
- How to treat yourself, your family and friends
- How to do a Reiki treatment
- How to connect to your energy (hara)
- Learn cleansing, breathing and intention techniques
- Learn about clearing and balancing
- How to use Japanese techniques to enhance your energy
- What you can use Reiki on (family, friends, yourself, plants, animals)
- Becoming initiated into the system of Reiki with four Japanese attunements
Each student will receive a Reiki manual, lineage, certificate as a Reiki Shoden Level 1 practitioner and will be eligible to join Reiki associations.
