I am honoured to be able to teach Komyo ReikiDo and have trained with Hyakuten Inamoto many times and in Kyoto Japan too.
Komyo ReikiDo is a Japanese Reiki system, founded by Hyakuten Inamoto, Pure Land (Jodo Shu 浄土宗) Buddhist Monk, Reiki researcher and renown international Reiki teacher.
Komyo ReikiDo is based on the Japanese practice of Reiki Ryoho, reflecting practices taught by Mikao Usui. Komyo ReikiDo is a keep-it-simple Reiki system and practice, grounded in the Japanese aesthetic of less is more. For more information on, see Komyo ReikiDo International.
There are four levels of Komyo ReikiDo, all training follows the class standards, code of ethics and in-person.
Reiki Shoden Level 1 training, includes:
- The history of Reiki
- Techniques and practices
- Initiated into Reiki with four Reiju
- Minimum 10 hours
- No prerequisites are necessary
Reiki Chuden Level 2 training, includes:
- Three symbols and uses
- Techniques and practices
- Initiated into Reiki with four Reiju
- Minimum 10 hours
- Prerequisite: minimum one month between Shoden
- Minimum level for practitioners to offer services to public
Reiki Okuden Level 3 training, includes:
- One symbols and uses
- Techniques and practices
- Initiated into Reiki with two Reiju
- Minimum 10 hours
- Prerequisite: minimum six months between Chuden
Reiki Shinpiden training, includes:
- Review all levels
- Techniques, practices and Reiju
- 2 training levels: non-teaching and teaching
- Initial Shinpiden: non-teaching, practitioner level
- Resit Shinpiden: to complete full Shinpiden training, teaching level
- Minimum 18 hours each course
- Prerequisite: minimum 12 months between Okuden
